Observation

in an observational study, we observe and measure specific characteristics, but we in no way attempt to modify the subject being studied.

Example

In this example, we see an observation on how many people will pick up the coin. The observer concludes that 1 out of 4 people will pick up the coin. This is just one example of an observation.
