Stratified Sample

Stratified Sampling subdivide the population into at least two different groups called strata that share the same characteristics then draw a sample from each group.

Example

This example shows how the population is grouped together by some sort of characteristic. Then Joe chooses one from each group to make up his team. This is just one example of a stratified sampling.
