Exercise 8: Composing a Cause and Effect Essay about a Role Model

Develop the outline that you just revised to incorporate resonance into a 500-600 word cause and effect essay about the role model that you chose. Your audience for this essay is your instructor, so your paper should adhere to GCU style and meet other basic requirements of academic papers. These requirements include:

Proper grammar
College-level word choice ( i.e., no slang or texting abbreviations)
Organization into coherent paragraphs, including an introduction that ends in a thesis statement; body paragraphs that begin with topics sentences and support the thesis; and a conclusion that recaps the main points.

Your purpose is to demonstrate that you understand cause and effect by explaining how your role model affected or influenced you. Your essay should also incorporate resonance in the ways that have been discussed and you have practiced.
